Chi hair straightener question?

my hair is wavy, and very frizzy, even when it straightens. I have this cheap hair straightener that was like 20$, maybe 30. and it works fine, but some of my pieces are not completely straight, or out of place, and VERY frizzy. my hair is really damaged, i straighten/blow dry every day. so basically i just want to know if you think that the chi will bring down some of the frizzies and keep it straight throughout the day and especially in humidity?Chi hair straightener question?
i have the exact same problem as you i just bought a new straightener or else i would buy the chi but i needed one so bad i just went to walmart n got one lol

my friend has a chi tho and she says it works good and it keeps her hair straight also a tip she uses is when your hair is wet put a heat protecter on it, then blow dry completely, than put it up into sections, and put mousse in the strands of hair your straighing and then take your straightener and straighten it and after your done your whole head like that then put non sticky hairspray on itChi hair straightener question?
I love the Chi!!!! My sis has a perfect afro puff after blow drying. She can turn it into the prettiest straight hair ever for the entire day without it going wavy. You just have to put the heat/straightener stuff in there for the best results!!! You should splurge and get the Chi!
my chi works great for me! my hair is a lot like yours. i would recomend using heat spray to help w/ damaged hair too. i use tres semme.
Solution time!

Stop blowdrying and straightening.

Problem solved. ^^
Yeah, it should do, Chi's work pretty well for me.

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd and Chameleon. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

=== Flat Iron Hair Straighteners FAQ ======

Q: What size should I choose?

A: For most people, 1';, 1-1/4'; or 1.5'; are all good choices. If you have very thick, coarse, long or ethic hair, bigger size (1.5'; or 2';) will save you some time. If you have thin, fine hair, get a smaller one (1'; or 3/4';).

Q: What temperature should I should on my hair?

A: Based on my expereince, 380F is the average temperature to use. If you hair is thick and coarse, bump it up a bit, if you hair is fine or overprocessed, start it at somewhere 300F, and try it. If the setting does not work well for you, increase a bit until you get a setting that works well for you but does not burn your hair. Trial and error.
