Chi hair straightener temperature?

I got one for 130 dollars and it only goes up to 392 temp!?


I thought they were supposed to be able to go up to 450


soo Idk I have thick wavyy hair so I need higher temp are their any chi's that go higher than 392Chi hair straightener temperature?
I dont think that the CHI hair straightener gets much hotter than that. I also have a CHI with wavy hair, and it works fine on me. I would suggest when your straightening your hair to seperate it into about 3 different layers, put it up as if your doing a half pony tail. Straighten, then let hair down and add more hair to straighten. Yes, it takes a little longer, but straightening in the thinner layers rather then all hair at once should help.
