I'm wanting to buy one, and my hair's pretty thick, and very curly and frizzy. Will using a Chi badly damage my hair?Does using a Chi hair straightener kill your hair?
All heat styling tools are somewhat bad fo your hair, but chi is made of top of the line ceramic, and is the best for you hair. also, you can buy products to spray into your hair that protect it. I use Dove intense dmage therapy for 4$ at walmart. It absorbs the heat so i prevents damage, also it conditions it so u have less frizz and fly aways.Does using a Chi hair straightener kill your hair?
no way. CHI is the safest straightener made of 100% ceramic that wont damage your hair while using a straightening product. Better than any other straightener that will damage your hair. a CHI is meant for any type of hairstyle, especially think and curly. So there you go, i'd definately recommend it.
My roommate's hair started breaking off once she started using the Chi. Just don't turn it up too high and you should be fine
well heat styling is never ';good'; for the hair, but it's supposed to be a good straightener
no my hairdresser uses one and i'm getting one for christmas
and it seal the cuticle and is very good and locks in shine and keeps it straight
you cant kill your ahir.. its already dead... but any heat styling product will damage your hair over time. But the better product u use- the less damage will be done
it does damage your hair but all heat products do...the reason its better is becuase its made with ceramic, not metal, which is very damaging on one's hair
