For CURLY,FRIZZY hair is there really any difference between a Chi hair straightener and a conair ceramic one?

I have really curly and frizzy hair and i was wondering if there is really a difference between the Chi hair straighteners and on of those conair ceramic ones you get at wal-mart? can anyone tell me if the Chi works better?For CURLY,FRIZZY hair is there really any difference between a Chi hair straightener and a conair ceramic one?
Hey girl! Go with the full priced regular 1 inch CHI, you won't regret it! I love my hair but it was SO thick and frizzy and when I would straighten it with those normal ones from Target, it would make my hair greasy and all hard. Try the CHI if your friend has one, you will love it. It is an essential for me when getting ready for school. I put my full trust in it and your hair is SO soft all the time it will be after you use it and it stays soft even days later without taking a shower!! lol i know i'm gross but buy it!!!

folica.com has them i just bought a blow dryer from there or try tj maxx and marshalls once in awhile they have them for cheaperFor CURLY,FRIZZY hair is there really any difference between a Chi hair straightener and a conair ceramic one?
Yes! There is a huge difference. The CHI is way better. Not only will it help you achieve straighter, smoother hair, but it will keep your hair from frying at the ends and needing to be chopped off. Get a CHI or GHD (which is even more amazing, and is both a flat iron and curling iron in one) and be sure you are using a thermal protector in your hair, like Miracle 10, to keep your hair strong and healthy.
Here are some frizz tips for you!

* A good haircut is key (find an expert here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons/a>

* Sleep on a satin pillowcase

* Don't shampoo every day

* Comb conditioner through hair in the shower

* Avoid terrycloth towels; use microfiber instead

* Air dry or use a diffuser

* Use styling products suited for your hair type (http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types/a>

* NEVER use a brush

* Don't touch your hair

* A pomade is great for mid-day touchups

* Apply styling products to dripping wet hair
i think chi works better then the one you get a wal-mart but if you wantto get the one @ wal-mart u should
My daughters, neighbors and I swear by the Chi...worth the price...my youngest daughter even tried to use after the cord broke!
