What is the difference between a CHI hair straightener and a regular one?

the only reason the CHI is so highly praised is because it was the first straightener ever made. there is nothing special about it and there are actually ones that are way better than it.

try a flat iron that has tourmaline in it. it will defriz and condition your hair while you straighten it. sally beauty has a lot of them. What is the difference between a CHI hair straightener and a regular one?
a chi is just a regular straightener, it's just a higher scale brand, like Solia, Sedu and GHD.

The higher quality irons, like chi, are cermaic plated, so they won't fry your hair like the 20 dollar irons do. They straighten your hair quickly, and keep your hair straight for a longer amount of time :)What is the difference between a CHI hair straightener and a regular one?
chi makes your hair shinier and softer and doesn't damage hair as much. i think its a difference between the combination of ceramic plates and heat that really makes the difference.

ALSO~ ive had my chi for a year and a half, and when i had regular products they would only last like 3 months
a chi temperature goes WAAYYY higher^^^ and a regular one does nott. also, chis are VERY expensive, they work really good though, you can buy straighteners alot like chis that go just as high for a cheaper price. chi is just a brand.
the price. also the metal/heating thing that is used. some are better than others.
