Is the CHI hair straightener a good brand? I was going to buy one but people say that they break easily.?

The CHI is amazing! All of my friends have them, and they can straighten my hair so fast. (I have super curly, frizzy hair!) The reason is because it gets incredibly hot, so you don't have to use as much pressure when pulling. This is better for your hair because you aren't breaking it off. I personally have an infre-red ceramic plated straighener, that was quite a price. It recently broke...but for about two years it was really really good. Just as good as the chi. The chi is just a bettter investment. Hope this helps!

CHI is GREAT!. but u need to make sure u dont drop it, becasue then it will break easily. dont take it on vacations to far places.

mine is 3 years and going strong.

Buy it, and love it,

just do take good care of it.
I bought a CHI and it broke first thing. I really haven't been very impressed by them, because they always break for me but they might be better for you. If you have a Beauty Supply store near you, they might carry Curlmaster brand. That is a GREAT brand and it lasts forever. I've had the same straightner for 4 years and it's still working great. Plus CHI's are about $120.00 and these are between $30.00 and $50.00! Hope this helps.
