Are chi hair straighteners really that great?

i heard chi straighteners and ozon naughty girl straighteners work the best... anyone have one of these? and does it work good? i have really thick, wavy and frizzy hair so i need a straightener that will calm it down. rite now i have a wet2straight and it sucks lol

chi flat irons are only good if you get the one that suits your type of hair



for example if you have thick hair, you might want to get one with a higher heat



if you have thin hair you'd probably get one with lower heat



lots of people don't like chi's because they don't know which type to get and it either doesn't work well enough because it's too low or it damages their hair a lot more than it should because it's too high



the best idea is to get one with a heat dial so that you can find the right heat for your hair and change it when necessaryAre chi hair straighteners really that great?
i have the chi straighteners and i love it! I use it everyday and it works so great! My hair is wavy and frizzy too and the chi calms it down and makes it look straight and silky. Also try crystal therapy before you straighten your hair. It works awesome and you put it on your hair before you straighten and it doesn't damage your hair as much!

i own the chi and before that i had the wet2 straight! all the wet to straight did was poof out my hair and make it dry and frizzy. i strongly recommend investing into a chi. they are a little expensive but they are worth it. i have frizzy curly dry hair, and straightening usually took many products and hours of straightening. with the chi, it only took an hour at the most. however, i strongly recommend putting a frizz serum or damage spray in your hair before hand. the chi gets extremely hot and will damage your hair if you don't take care of it.
The Chi is a very amazing straightner ,but didn't last for me.

I got mine beginning of 9th grade and it isn't broken,but the light doesn't come on therefore doesn't heat up unless i play with the cord and twist it and annoying stuff just to get it to turn on.I'm going into 11th grade and it started falling apart like middle of 10th grade.I never dropped it/got water on it either and i always turn it off(i get scared it'll burn down the house)I have to get a new one for my birthday in August.
i've heard that too. but idkk they're kinda expensive %26gt;.%26lt; i bought a straightener at the mall and supposably it worked just like the chi, but it's not all that great... %26amp;%26amp; yes it was expensive %26gt;.%26lt; i regret buying it. ($150 bux but got $50 back in the mail.)



revlon has an awesome straightener! i have the black one and i love it! it was at the most $30 bux,it might even be less, but it leaves your hair super straight and you can curl it too..

I have a chi and it's really good except that it breaks your hair, but you can use this spray it's in a red bottle and its a gaurd against your hair made by chi and when ever you use the chi it won't break you hair but rather than that its a really good straightner. it makes you hair look shiny.

when i bought it my mom was like ';blah blah blah expensive blah blah wasting your money blah blah blah'; then she tried it and fell in love. she now has her very own chi blow dryer as well.



ps. i have extremely curly, lackluster hair and the chi makes it as straight as can be, and gives it a little shine :)
YES.

It doesn't damage your hair so much as it straghtens it. I don't own one (they're expensive!) but I have used one and I plan to buy them once I'm willing to dish a few hundred dollars for it.

I have the chi straightener, i have extremely thick hair and this is simply amazing!
I used to have a wet2straight and I thought it was okay, but wanted more. Chi straighteners are amazing. I will never go back to any other brand.
They work really good. You should get one! But it depends because they are expensive but it doesn't matter because it works really good and i really don't care about the price.
