I loove the maxi glide. It works on all hair types and uses steam instead of heat so it penetrates deeper and isnt that ( note i said that) damaging. it comes with 2 ceramic plates. once with a built in comb, and a normal one. i like the comb plate.... but my mom threw it out lol.

I used the chi myself until the cords kept on goin out on me... not sure why.. i spent 80.00 on the dang thing.. so now I just use the basic straightner from walmart etc....
