it's just the label... n i have one from walmart and from target both that have ceramic plates work just as good as a chi and i got it for 20 bucks...
it's like the same thing with anything... a 100% cotton shirt from target is made the same and with the same materials like a 100% cotton shirt from abercrombie or something like that... it's the name that your paying for not the product...Whats the difference between a CHI hair straightener and a normal one? ?
Well just to tell you... Yeah Chi is all great at the beginning and of course it'll straighten your hair very well, but it also DAMAGES your hair extremely compared to other ones and it's a lot more expensive.
I do think the CHI is better for your hair than the $30 ones. I've used it for several years and it does damage your hair a little, but not nearly as much as the other ones.
the chi uses ceramic plates (hence the name) and sum others jus use metal plates
CHI's are better and more expensive.
